Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – “PDEA+LTO-CAR= OPLAN BIYAHENG AYOS UNDAS 2024”
In preparation for the coming holidays, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cordillera and Land Transportation Office (LTO-CAR) has been inspecting bus terminals in “OPLAN BYAHENG AYOS: UNDAS 2024” which started last Tuesday October 29 and is expected to continue over the weekend.
The PDEA K-9 of the Land Transport Interdiction Unit (LTIU), assisted commuters in inspecting their bags, while the LTO checked the roadworthiness of passenger vehicles bound for travel.
Authorities want all travelers entering and exiting the Cordillera region to be safe, secured, and free of illegal drugs when riding public transportation.
Provincial terminals also have PDEA and LTO personnel stationed. (Baby Tong)
