Patients 004 and 005 have finally recovered after thorough treatments and monitoring were done to help them fight COVID-19.
Patient 004, who was the first confirmed COVID-19 case in the Municipality of Manukan, resulted negative in her repeat RT-PCR test, but remains at the LGU’s isolation facility for her 14-day quarantine.
While a send-off ceremony was initiated by DJRMH and its staff for patient 005 who was a resident of the Municipality of Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte.
The patient was treated and isolated at Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital in Dapitan City for more than 2 weeks.
Flowers and a simple token were offered to Pt.005 as the first patient to recover inside the Hospital facility.
Both patients were tested positive for COVID-19 last June 20, 2020 in Zamboanga del Norte.
