Engineer Junelito Abrazado Jr. said in an interview this morning over Radyo Ronda Balita program of RPN DXKS that he received a letter from PAL DSA Emiliano Thaddeus Amores in behalf of Philippine Airlines through the authority of Senior Assistant Vice President Harry Inoferio.
The letter said PAL is applying for a schedule of flight to land at Surigao City Airport from Manila and from Cebu on Fridays and Sundays respectively. Amores said the management is conforming with the Executive Order no. 20-054 of Governor Francisco T. Matugas.
In a follow up interview with DSA Emiliano Thaddeus Ted Amores, PAL will come up with an official announcement once the flight schedule will be finalized and hoping the flight resumption will be this December. He said PAL maybe sending their technical crew to check if our runway length can accommodate an airbus to land. (RPN DXKS Surigao)
