PNP elements of Guipos MPS under the supervision of PMAJ AUGUSTUS A ROSENDO, OIC, conducted planned Anti-Illegal Drug Operation (Buy-Bust) that resulted to the arrest of one male, 32 years old, (surrendered drug personality/SLI) and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Guling, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.
Confiscated during the said operation as follows: One (1) piece small size heat- sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (buy-bust evidence) weighting and estimated weight of more or less 0.07 gram; One (1) piece small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (possession) weighting and estimated weight of more or less 0.14 gram, with total gross weight of 0.21 gram with estimated street value of Php 1,400.00; One (1) piece of One Thousand Peso bill (buy-bust money), and 1 empty pack of Fort Cigarette.
The operation was documented using an Alternative Recording Device, and the arrested person was informed of his constitutional rights under Miranda Doctrine and Anti-Torture Law under RA 7438 in a dialect known to him and which he understood. Markings and inventory were done in the presence of Hon. Michelle Belotendos, Barangay Chairman of Canunan, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur, and Mr. Glen Zacarias and Mr. Fernando Cordova, Media Representative from Igmat Guipos.
The seized/confiscated drug items will be submitted to Zamboanga del Sur-Provincial Forensic Unit (ZDS-PFU), Camp Abelon, Lumbia District, Pagadian City for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
The suspect is now under the custody of Guipos MPS while the investigator on case is preparing necessary documents for filling of appropriate case against him. (RPN DXKP Pagadian – Bogs Cabungcag)
