Mayor John Dalipe reaffirms his unyielding commitment to supporting the Aviation Security Unit-9 in its mission to ensure the safety of passengers and the facilities at the Zamboanga International Airport and all other airports within its area of responsibility.
The mayor said this, as he welcomed Aviation Security Unit-9 (AVSEU9) Officer-in-Charge PLtCol Ritchie Glenn Layug and staff during the latter’s courtesy visit to City Hall recently.
The courtesy visit aimed to strengthen airport security measures, maintain peace and order and foster collaboration with the local government for a more secure environment in Zamboanga City.
The AVSEU9 under the Philippine National Police (PNP) Aviation Security Group (ABSEGROUP) is tasked with safeguarding airports from all acts of unlawful interference.
Joining in the courtesy visit were Assistant AVSEU9 Chief PLtCol Edgardo Rivera and staff.
