The Department of Social Welfare and Development Office (DSWD) through the City Government of Iriga, has released over P2.6M in educational assistance today, at Iriga City Sport Center.
Some 904 students in Iriga City received cash aid under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Education Assistance Payout Program from the DSWD Supplemental Fund of Usec Nina Taduran, now the Undersecretary of Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).
Usec Nina Taduran and Mayor Rex Oliva led the distribution of the cash payout to students, together with the SP Members, city officials, barangay officials and employees from Office of the City Social Welfare and Development Office and Treasurer’s Office.
This DSWD Cash Assistance include grants ranging form PHP 1,000 to PHP 4,000 depending on the current level of education from elementary, JHS, SHS to college.
