Atty. Zander Plaza, OIC-Provincial Administrator of the Surigao del Norte, attends today’s (April 28) teleconference meeting of the TWG-One Caraga Shield.
He said that strict implementation of the guidelines under the enhanced community quarantine is still carried out in the province.
With regard to the concern on stranded passengers in Cebu and other places, Atty. Plaza said that they have received queries and requests for possible intervention through the LGU’s HEALS 911 call center. “We have a protocol in addressing their concerns. Upon getting the details, these will be referred to the social development officer and to the governor. The LGU is willing to help those who are qualified to be given the assistance if we establish a basis after the assessment, as there are those who called us up who are really not stranded,” he said.
