Newly appointed Director Usop D. Pendaliday, Jr. officially took over as the sixth Regional Director of DA-BFAR Caraga on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
Outgoing OIC Regional Director Dr. Nilo Selim Katada formally turned-over the key of responsibility to the newly-appointed RD Pendaliday.
RD Katada thanked the BFAR Caraga employees for the support and cooperation for the past four months of his headship, and urged them to continue to perform well and support RD Pendaliday.
“As the newly appointed regional director, our management and leadership is simple – a management that is based on mutual respect, dedication, and commitment to our works – ensuring that our deliverables are completely met,” RD Pendaliday said.
RD Pendaliday took his oath of office before DA Secretary Dr. William D. Dar, via Zoom, on July 29, 2021.
Prior to his appointment as Director II, he served as the Center Chief of the Mindanao Freshwater Fisheries Technology Center and also as the OIC-Regional Director of BFAR XII-SOCCSKSARGEN.
RD Pendaliday succeeded RD Visa Tan-Dimerin who retired last March 26, 2021.
