Bahagyang magluluwag ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa pillion riding o pag-aangkas sa mga motorsiklo at hindi na ito limitado para sa mga mag-asawa o common law partners.
Ito’y makaraang suspindehin muli ang biyahe ng mga pampublikong transportasyon sa Metro Manila at mga karatig lalawigan nito sa modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) simula ngayong araw.
Ayon kay PNP Directorate for Operations chief P/Mgen. Emmanuel Luis Licup, papayagan nila ang angkas sa mga motorsiklo basta’t sila’y authorized persons outside of residence (APOR).
Paliwanag ni Licup, ito aniya ang napagpasyahan sa isinagawang pagpupulong kahapon ng National Task Force against COVID-19.
Dahil tayo nasa MECQ, we try to strike a balance between our economy ang putting the people on their homes [Making the people to stay on their homes]. Ang pinag-agreehan is to allow pillion riding even if you’re not couples here in Metro Manila and in the neighboring provinces. Yes allowed ‘yung pillion riding even if you are not couples. ani Licup
Maliban dito, mahigpit ding pinaalalahanan ng PNP ang mga mag-aangkas sa motorsiklo na dapat ito’y libre o hindi ginagamit sa pamamasada
Hindi naman kahit sino, they have to be APOR or authorized persons outside of residence especially frontliners, health workers kahit hindi magkakilala. Pero one condition dapat hindi nagpapabayad o hindi siya inarkelahan o upahan. ani Licup
