MBLT-11 Greets New CO; Praises Outgoing CO

Zamboanga City —The Marine Battalion Landing Team-11 welcomed its new Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. Ronaldo U. Urbano PN(M) (GSC) last Thursday, 17 June 2021 at its Headquarters, Ecozone, Brgy. Sinubong, Zamboanga City.
 
Graced by the presence of M/Gen. Ariel R. Caculitan PN(M), Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, the traditional Change of Command Ceremony was held to officially relinquish the duties and responsibilities of the Outgoing Commanding Officer, MBLT-11, Lt. Col. Joel O. Atienza PN (M) to his successor.
‘’…to Joel, you have done so well. We have all the praises for you so, congratulations and please accept my deepest thanks and gratitude for graduating with excellence as Battalion Commander of MBLT-11,’’ said CPMC during his speech in the Change of Command Ceremony.
He likewise reminded the newly assumed CO, MBLT-11 about the importance of three (3) things: authority which revolves around the scope of one’s power, responsibility on ensuring the accomplishment of mission and welfare of men, and accountability on whatever may happen under one’s command.




The said activity was also conducted with strict adherence to the health protocols implemented in the City.
