Mas magiging matindi ang kampanya kontra iligal na droga ng gobyerno.
Ito ang babala ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa gitna ng magkakasunod na pagkakarekober ng bloke-blokeng cocaine sa karagatan ng Dinagat, Quezon at Camarines provinces.
Sa kanyang talumpati matapos lagdaan ang Universal Health Care Law sa Malakanyang, iginiit ni Pangulong Duterte na pursigido siyang tapusin ang giyera kontra droga hanggang matapos ang kanyang termino.
“I will be more harsher in the days to come because I cannot see a country of mine, I’m not speculating on my competence or my ability but nobody can solve it in due time pero gusto kong tapusin talaga ito sa panahon ko. I have 3 years left and I’m putting notice to everybody and the same slogan hearing, maybe it leaves bad taste in the mouth everytime I say it but I have to say it, atleast you are warned. I will not allow my country to be destroyed. I will not allow my country to become a failed state because of drug, and I’m declaring war when I said I will kill anybody that stands in the way.”
May babala rin ang punong ehekutibo sa mga drug cartel lalo sa mga dayuhang sindikato na magpapakalat ng iligal na droga sa bansa.
“For those guys who keep on with their business on importing with the Mexicans, Chinese, or Filipino, continue to feed out children with drugs, there’s no way at talagang maabutan ko kayo. Papatayin. I’m ready to accept the consequences, I’m ready for hell but I will never, never reside over the nation that could deteriorate in my present.”
