KALINGA PROVINCE – Joint elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera Regional Intelligence and Operations Team (RIOT); Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) and local police, raided a marijuana plantation in Brgy. Loccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga on July 14, 2025-July 15, 2025.
Approximately 60,000 fully grown marijuana plants from an area encompassing around 4,000 square meters were uprooted, and subsequently, all marijuana plants were incinerated on-site in accordance with established protocols.
There were no individuals engaged in the cultivation activities caught during the course of the two (2) days operation. – By: BABY TONG
