Police operatives of Siay Municipal Police Station led by PCPT. Roque D. Hamid conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Purok 1, Brgy. Monching, Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 11:30 AM November 20, 2020. The operation resulted in the arrest of Joan Sayles Toleron, 30 years old, married and a resident of abovementioned place.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Qualified Rape, docketed under Criminal Case No. I-8136-8138, issued by Hon. Joel G. Vercide, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 37, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, dated November 9, 2020 with no recommended bail bond.
Arrested accused is now under the temporary custody of Siay MPS for proper disposition.(PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
