A man who was wanted for the crime of homicide was arrested by police personnel of Midsalip Municipal Police Station (MPS) and RMFB9 during the joint law enforcement operation against wanted person at Purok 2, Brgy. Canipay Sur, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at 1:20 PM of December 3, 2020. PMAJ Edgar R. Hinoctan, Midsalip Police Chief identified the arrested as Nelson Tulay Lumawas, 30 years old, married, and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Macasing, Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Homicide, docketed under Criminal Case No. 20-10, 1806, issued by Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur dated November 26, 2020 with a recommended bail bond of ₱ 80,000.00.
He is now under the temporary custody of Midsalip MPS for proper disposition.
