Chief Operations Division Attorney Noel Aban of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) – Caraga, alongside Chief of the Regional Law Enforcement Unit Joshua Salalac, visited City Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II.
The meeting centered on enhancing traffic laws, improving traffic flow, and ensuring effective implementation. SCTMO – Surigao City Traffic Management Office OIC PLT Jeanil Saraus was also in attendance.
During their visit to Surigao City, LTO Caraga conducted a briefing for LTO-deputized Surigao City Traffic Enforcers. This training equipped enforcers with the authority to issue Temporary Operations Permits (TOP) to confiscate driver’s licenses of traffic violators.
Mayor Dumlao expressed strong support for these measures, highlighting the importance of road safety and order in Surigao City.
