One (1) reported death from Tantangan, the 4455th reported confirmed case, 83 years old male. Cause of death is End stage liver disease secondary to cirrhosis, acute respiratory failure stage IV, septic shock secondary to PNA HR, COVID-19 critical confirmed, cardiopulmonary arrest.
One (1) reported death from Makilala, the 4568th reported confirmed case, 15 years old female. Cause of death is Diabetic ketoacidosis, severe pediatric community acquired pneumonia, COVID-19 critical.
One (1) reported death from President Roxas, the 4571st reported confirmed case, 56 years old male. Cause of death is Acute coronary syndrome, COVID-19 confirmed with severe pneumonia, acute pulmonary congestion secondary to chronic kidney disease stage V,secondary to diabetic kidney disease, severe metabolic acidosis secondary to corrected community acquired pneumonia high risk with hypoxia, diabetes mellitus type II, coronary artery disease fibrillation in controlled ventricular rate congestive heart failure IVD, hyperurecemia status for intrajugular insertion.
One (1) reported death from Banga, the 4600th reported confirmed case, 69 years old male. Cause of death is pneumonia high risk, uremia secondary to Chronic Kidney Disease secondary to hypertensive nephrosclerosis, COVID-19 positive.
Overall, there are a total of 4,610 COVID-19 confirmed cases reported to DOH CHD SOCCSKSARGEN region. 500 (11%) are active cases, 3,942 (86%) recoveries and 167 (3.62%) COVID-19 related deaths.
