First district congressman Cesar Jimenez Jr., bats for the establishment of Labuan General Hospital to give better health services in the city.
He is hoping that this can be included in the country’s 2022 budget. The budget is being tackled hoping to pass the congress, senate, and the Bicameral Conference Committee.
The proposed hospital will be placed inside the Zamboanga Ecozone with a proposed budget of ₱ 100 million.
This will serve patients especially the west coast area where they will no longer need to go to Zamboanga City Medical Center for medical treatment.
The congressman said that the old Labuan Hospital located at barangay Labuan will become a city runned hospital.
“This is important because mas facil mira conel enfermo y dale el financial assistance,” Jimenez said.
