John Patrick Ciron, Irigueño skilled athlete, won the Bronze Medal in the Asian Elite Category at the 2023 Professional Triathlon Organization (PTO) Asian Open – Duathlon. The international event took place in Marina Bay, Singapore, on August 20, 2023.
Competing against strong contenders from various Asian countries, Ciron secured the third spot on the podium. The Gold and Silver Medals were claimed by fellow Filipinos Maynard Pecson and Raymund Torio, resulting in an all-Filipino victory lineup. Representing the Philippines on the international stage is an honor, highlighting the potential of Irigueños in competitions.
