A joint anti-illegal drug operation led to the arrest of a street-level drug personality and the confiscation of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php 152,592 in Barangay San Roque, Camaligan, Camarines Sur at around 11:16 AM today, July 4, 2025.
The operation was conducted by personnel of Camaligan Municipal Police Station as the lead unit, in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, Camarines Sur Maritime Police Station, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Camarines Sur.
The arrested suspect was identified as alias “Rich,” 50 years old, a resident of Pasacao, Camarines Sur, and is categorized as a street-level individual in the illegal drug watchlist.
The suspect is now under the custody of Camaligan MPS and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
