The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region V, through its District Offices and Drivers Education Centers (DECs), concludes its participation in Handog ng Pangulo 2026: “Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” today, September 15, 2026, by bringing free driver education and essential transportation services closer to communities across the Bicol Region.
As the final day of the initiative, participants who completed the Free 15-Hour Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) take an important step toward becoming responsible road users as they apply for their Student Permits. This marks the beginning of their journey toward gaining the knowledge, discipline, and skills necessary for safe and responsible driving.
Regional Director Edgar Allan B. Castillejos personally visited the activity to extend his support and assure the proper conduct of the program, underscoring LTO Region V’s commitment to delivering accessible, orderly, and responsive public services.
Through this initiative, LTO Region V continues to promote road safety, strengthen driver education, and ensure that government services reach the people.
This is guided by the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and aligned with the policy directions of Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Atty. Giovanni Z. Lopez and LTO Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao, and further strengthened by the leadership of LTO Regional Director Allan Castillejos and Assistant Regional Director Vincent Nato.
