Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City — Police Regional Office 5’s ongoing water desalination efforts have successfully distributed 13,100 liters of potable water from October 24 to 31, 2024.
These efforts have benefited 540 families in the municipalities of Oas and Polangui in Albay, as well as Nabua in Camarines Sur. The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 5 (RMFB 5) operates the water desalination equipment, traveling from one barangay to another to meet the urgent need for clean drinking water following the devastation caused by Typhoon Kristine.
This initiative addresses the critical demand for potable water among affected residents. RMFB 5 remains ardent to reach more communities, ensuring a continuous supply of safe, clean water to help families recover and rebuild.
