Iriga: PRO5 stands out as 1st runner-up in National SWAT Challenge 2025

    Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City—Police Regional Office 5 proudly secured the 1st Runner-Up position among 16 elite contingents in the National SWAT Challenge 2025 held from January 15 to 18 at the SAF Headquarters, Camp Mariano Castañeda in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This annual competition brought together the country’s finest tactical units, pitting them against one another in a series of challenging stages designed to test their physical strength, mental acuity, and tactical expertise.

    Throughout the competition, Police Regional Office 5 displayed exceptional skill and determination, earning recognition in multiple categories. They clinched the 1st Runner-Up award in Stage 1, and 2nd Runner-Up awards in Stage 2, Stage 4, and the Best in Uniform category. These achievements underscored their unwavering commitment to excellence and their ability to perform consistently under intense pressure. Their collective efforts culminated in their well-deserved 1st Runner-Up overall award, solidifying their status as one of the top-performing contingents in the nation.

    Beyond the display of tactical prowess, the National SWAT Challenge 2025 served as a platform to foster camaraderie and unity among the participating teams. It provided an opportunity for contingents to learn from one another, exchange strategies, and build stronger bonds, reflecting the spirit of collaboration that underpins the law enforcement community.
