Female contingents from the Police Regional Office 5 took the spotlight in today’s (March 4, 2024) Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, marking a vibrant start to the month-long celebration of Women’s Month.

Demonstrating remarkable prowess and resilience, female police officers showcased their parade skills, embodying empowerment and strength throughout the event.

Adding significance to the occasion was the presence of DR. FAY LEA PATRIA M. LAURAYA, President of the University of Nueva Caceres, who graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker.

DR. LAURAYA, with PBGEN ANDRE PEREZ DIZON, RD, and the Command Group, bestowed hard-earned recognition upon female police officers for their tireless dedication and exceptional performance in various capacities, including their integral roles in anti-criminality operations and community engagement initiatives.

Among the distinguished recipients of the Medalya ng Kagalingan were PCPT ESTRELLA ESTRELLA TORRES from Masbate PPO, PSSG ARLIE FUELLAS ESQUILLO from Sorsogon PPO, PCPL ARLENE SOLANO BALEAN from Albay PPO, and PMSG LORELIE BOLO VIGILIA from Camarines Sur PPO. Additionally, PSSG REA FLORALDE FALCOTELO of Sorsogon PPO was awarded with the Medalya ng Papuri.

DR. LAURAYA delivered a touching message, underscoring the pivotal role of women in societal progress. She also eloquently expressed that the essence of women’s beauty and the multifaceted nature of their lives and aspirations are encapsulated in the treasures they hold dear.

In gratitude for her invaluable insights and time, DR. LAURAYA received a well-deserved plaque of appreciation, symbolizing her profound appreciation for her contributions to the event.
