“Mary accompanies us in our journey towards a synodal Church.” Ito ang official general theme ng Peñafrancia Fiesta ngayong taon.
Kasabay ng pag-anunsyo nito, ibinahagi na rin ng Archdiocese of Caceres ang opisyal na logo ng pista ngayong Setyembre.
“The logo, which is inspired by the large stained-glass windows of the forty-year-old Minor Basilica, reflects the Fluvial Procession, a highlight of the annual Peñafrancia Fiesta and the Peñafrancia de Mayo celebration, where the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia and the Divino Rostro journey together through the Naga River towards their sanctuary,” bahagi ng post sa social media account nito.
“Joining their journey aboard the Pagoda are representatives from various sectors of society, namely: a father bearing a child, a common man, a mother, a bishop, and a voyador. This is emblematic of the Archdiocese’s efforts of allowing ordinary people to board the vessel, which stands today as our local Church’s most visible expression of synodality,” saad pa dito.
Sa pangkalahatan, nais umano ng logo na ipaalam na laging bukas at handa ang simbahan na makinig, makipag-usap at makipagtulungan sa lahat para sa ikabubuti ng komunidad.
Dinisenyo ang logo ni JP Aven, habang si JC Madrid ang nagpaliwanag sa rationale o kahalagahan ng bawat imahe na makikita rito.
