Forty eight (48) representatives of various provinces, LGUs and RDRRMC Bicol member agencies attended the first day of the Contingency Plan (CP) Training of Trainers (TOT), led by Office of Civil Defense (OCD) 5, last August 8, 2023 at A&A Bed and Breakfast, Legazpi City, Albay.
During the opening program, OCD5 Regional Director Claudio L Yucot stressed the importance of contingency plans by the LGUs in preparation for any major disasters.
The training shall produce CP instructors per province in order to ensure availability of OCD5 trained instructors in every part of Bicol.
