Mayor Rex led the distribution of much-needed school materials and facilities to public schools today at Iriga City Sports Center. This program is to uplift public education, ensuring that schools have the necessary tools to create conducive learning spaces for students.
It can be recalled that Mayor Rex has allocated 50K Special Education Fund to all public schools to utilize the allocated funds for their specific needs and requirements, whether it be acquiring essential materials, upgrading facilities, or enhancing overall learning environments.
According to Mayor Rex, by entrusting schools with the resources they need, we empower them to make decisions that directly impact the quality of education our children receive. He further said that the city government will be supporting and complementing the needs of the educational sector and this activity is part of an ongoing commitment to support the city’s educational institutions.
Also present during the turnover of school materials was SDS Mariano De Guzman who is very supportive of the programs of the city.
