In a proud celebration of resilience and hope, the 16th Annual Graduation Ceremony of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) for School Year 2024–2025 was held on June 25, 2025, at the Iriga City Sports Complex. The event brought together proud graduates from various barangays in Iriga City who overcame life’s challenges in pursuit of education. With the theme “Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay ng Bagong Pilipinas,” the milestone reflected ALS’s unwavering mission to provide inclusive and flexible learning opportunities to out-of-school youth and adult learners across the city.
Mayor Rex C. Oliva also attended the ceremony, showing his continued support for the city’s alternative education program. His presence highlighted the local government’s strong commitment to accessible education for all, especially for those outside the traditional school system. On the same day, Mayor Rex also joined the 2nd Annual Gawad Parangal: Search for the Best Iriga Plus Implementation, where outstanding initiatives were recognized for their innovative contributions. His participation in both events underscored the city’s dedication to educational inclusivity and empowerment, aligning with the goals of a progressive and compassionate Bagong Pilipinas.
