LTO Regional enforcers, in coordination with PDEA, conducted a random inspection at the Legazpi Terminal as part of ongoing efforts to uphold safety and compliance under Republic Act 10586, the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2013.
To aid in the operation, PDEA deployed two trained sniffing dogs to inspect passengers and their luggage. These inspections aim to prevent the transport and use of illegal drugs, ensuring the safety and security of the commuting public. Such collaborative operations reinforce the government’s commitment to combating drug-related activities and promoting road safety in public transport hubs.
