The Local Civil Registrar (LCR) Office, led by City Civil Registrar Ma. Nancy R. Occiano, took the lead in todayβs flag raising ceremony at the City Hall grounds. The ceremony honored the values of unity, service, and commitment that guide the city government in its daily work for the IrigueΓ±os.
After the ceremony, the City Health Office, through its Population Program Office headed by Ms. Marietta A. Nacario, formally presented to the City Government the award for 3rd Place β City Category in the 2025 Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Award (RMSKPA). The recognition was conferred on September 9, 2025, by the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Region V in Legazpi City to acknowledge Irigaβs outstanding efforts in localizing the POPDEV Agenda.
In his message, Mayor Rex C. Oliva commended the Local Civil Registrar for their vital role in serving IrigueΓ±os through the issuance of essential documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as spearheading meaningful initiatives like the Kasalang Barangay. He extended his thanks to Vice Mayor Edsel S. Dimaiwat, Councilor Jor-El O. Caayao, ,and IPMR and SP Ex Officio Member Margarita B. Cabria for their presence and support during the ceremony.
Mayor Oliva also congratulated the various offices for the successful events they spearheaded last week, including the 3rd Quarter Meeting of PESO Managers in Camarines Sur (Public Employment Service Office), the 3rd Quarter Meeting of Livestock Inspectors of Camarines Sur (City Veterinary Office), and the Healthy Buntis Congress 2025 (City Health Office). He lauded their dedication and teamwork, underscoring how these initiatives contribute to the cityβs continuing progress and the welfare of every IrigueΓ±o.
