The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) conducts the Walang Gutom 2027 Information Caravan in Camarines Sur to raise awareness on the DSWD flagship programs specifically, the Food Stamp Program; Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program; and the Oplan Pag Abot, held at the Digital Hall, Provincial Capitol Compound, Pili, Camarines Sur, August 6, 2024.
The activity was spearheaded by DSWD Sec. Rex T. Gatchalian where he underscored the importance of the program, that of eliminating hunger and achieve food security across all communities by 2027, and at the same time enhance nutritional standards and improve the quality of life of the poorest population in the country.
Present during the activity were Camarines Sur Gov. Luigi Villafuerte, Cong. Migz Villafuerte, and the local chief executives of the municipalities of Camarines Sur.
