As the Penafrancia Fiesta draws near, members of the Penafrancia Festival Multi-Agency Coordination Group (MACG) were convened on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Archbishop Legaspi Hall, Basilica Minore, Balatas, Naga City for a planning-workshop for its activation.
The MAGC will be the primary coordinating body responsible for facilitating interagency collaboration, resource coordination, and incident management during the Penafrancia Festival.
Said group is composed of the Public Safety, Traffic Management and Enforcement Joint Task Group; Security and Peace and Order Joint Task Group; Health and Medical Joint Task Group; Public Information Joint Task Group; Utilities Joint Task Group; Fluvial Joint Task Group; and the Emergency Preparedness and Response Joint Task Group.
After the said activity, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing was held between the City Government of Naga and the Archdiocese of Caceres, and government-members agencies and volunteer groups.
