Iriga: DOLE CamSur, Albay, Masbate promote DOLE’s programs, services thru ISARAP and Duterte Legacy serbisyo caravans

With the commitment to further intensify the promotion of DOLE’s programs and services and to bring it closer to the public, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bicol through its three (3) provincial field offices of Camarines Sur, Albay and Masbate actively participated in serbisyo caravans last April 23, 25 and 27, respectively.

Camarines Sur Provincial Office (CSPFO) headed by Assistant Regional Director Imelda E. Romanillos joined the Integrated Sustainable Assistance Recovery and Advancement Program (ISARAP) serbisyo caravan at the Provincial Convention Center, Pili, Camarines Sur and the Duterte Legacy Caravan at Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, Concepcion Grande, Naga City held on 23 April and 24 April 2022 respectively.

On the other hand, Masbate Provincial Field Office (MPFO) headed by Ella E. Verano set up an information booth to assist the public in all queries and requests for assistance relative to the Department’s programs and services. Job vacancies were also displayed in preparation for the Labor Day Job fair to be held in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

There were pre-program activities during the morning session of the ISARAP caravan where various government agencies showcased their programs and services. For the afternoon session, a ceremonial awarding of assistance to several beneficiaries was conducted.

DOLE CSPO and MPFO distributed IEC materials and attended to some labor-related queries of the participants. Participants were also invited to the upcoming Labor Day job fair at Robinsons Place Naga.

The ISARAP caravan was participated by various government agencies such as the DICT, DTI, DOH, PCA, DSWD, DILG, LTFRB, DENR, DepEd, NHA and DSHUD.

Meanwhile, DOLE Albay headed by Ms. Cherry B. Mosatalla and CSPO participated also in the Intensified Duterte Legacy Caravan thru Convergence of all government agencies on April 24 and 25 at Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, Concepcion Grande, Naga City and Camp Ola, Legazpi City, Albay, respectively.

DOLE USEC. Benjo Santos Benavidez was among the guest sepeaker in the said caravan in Legazpi City.

The caravan provided primary basic government services to the National Coalition of Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Support Groups and Force Multipliers beneficiaries that aimed to bring the government more closely to the people in coordination with the local government units, socio-civic organizations, and other concerned stakeholders.

The Department is one with other government agencies in providing quality and efficient services to the Filipino. These caravans will serve as an avenue not just to promote programs and services but also to let the public feel that the government is always with them. (Melogie Lomenario | Junalene Santiago | Ma.
