Dessa Mare P. Lontayao, San Francisco SK Chairperson, was proclaimed new SK Federation President by the Election Committee under the supervision of Board of Election Supervisors composed of DILG LGOO VI Sheela Medina, Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod Yolanda M. De Lima and Comelec Executive Assistant II Jazle P. Decatoria.
With 28 votes, Lontayao snatched the presidency in the SK Federation election held at the Iriga City Sports Center today, November 14. She will succeed Hon. Michael Samarita.
After the proclamation, Mayor Rex Oliva administered the oath taking of the newly elected SK Federation Officers. The proclamation and oath taking was attended by Vice Mayor Edsel S. DImaiwat, Konsi Nikki Lagrimas, Jeff Tino, Dandreb Abonite, Mitch Samarita and LYDO Quenie Marie April Aurellano.
Also present to congratulate the newly officers were City Administrator Atty. Maharlika Ramon C. Oaferina II and Executive Assistant Jor-el Caayao.
The Panel of Observers during the election was composed of Prosecutor Ramir Sirios, Acting PNP Chief Jabesh Napolis and Pedro Morada.
