Iriga: CHRMO conducts 2-day SPMS training workshop to city department heads & heads of offices

The City Government of Iriga through the City Human Resources Management Office (CHRMO) opens the first day of its 2-day Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) Training Workshop last January 30, at the ICT Building, Sta. Cruz Sur, Iriga City.

The workshop, attended by City department heads and employees, is scheduled from Jan. 30-31, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dana V. Altea, CSC RO-V Cam. Sur Field Office Supervising Human Resource Specialist who serves as a guest speaker led the training, aimed to orient employees about the objectives of SPMS rules and regulations that are vital in performing their duties and responsibilities.

During the training, Ms.Dana explained by unraveling every aspect that each employee needs to know so that they can perform their work properly also discussed the importance of OPCR and IPCR to all the employees, she reiterated the proper way how to evaluate oneself based on their work performance.

The workshop was part of LGU-Iriga’s mandate which is to promote a culture of excellence and accountability to its employees.

During the workshop the participant was divided between department heads and administrative officers, within each group, the participants crafted their respective OPCR and IPCR as a basis for the evaluation of their performance at the same time to quantify output or task assigned attained at the given period base on quality, efficiency, and timeliness. Each group was allowed to present its output for critiquing. Dir MA. DOLORES D. SALUD, Director II CSC RO-V Cam. Sur FO spearheaded the process of critiquing and it was also strengthened by the comments and suggestions of the participants.
