Royal Danish Embassy, European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners meet with CamSur Governor Lray Villafuerte to discuss investments and possible partnerships in the province
On October 2, 2025, His Excellency Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Philippines, met with Camarines Sur Governor Luis Raymund “Lray” Villafuerte to present projects and discuss potential investments, business opportunities, and strategic partnerships in the province.
Joining the courtesy visit were delegates from the Royal Danish Embassy, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) led by Executive Director Florian Gottein, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) represented by Head of External Affairs Jasper Manlapaz and T&I and Ports Manager Sander Harsmen, along with representatives from the CamSur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CSCCI).
H.E. Mellbin expressed his appreciation for the productive meeting with the governor, noting the impressive projects underway and commending Camarines Sur for its reputation as a business-friendly province.
The session concluded with further discussions and alignment on potential next steps toward a meaningful and mutually beneficial partnership.
