The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) has expressed its full support to the PLANADO (Plan and Do) Program of the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD).
During its program launching, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) Arnold C. Onrubia remarked that such an initiative marked a significant step in aiming to enhance land use planning and development by utilizing modern planning process.
Onrubia said that the project highlights significant processes in eliminating backlogs in Comprehensive Land Use Plans (CLUP).
“Yung layunin kasi ng programang ito ay by 2028, dapat lahat ng LGUs ay approved na ang CLUP saka yung Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plans, sa atin sa Albay we are taking care of the approval and the endorsement of the CLUPs of the 18 component LGUs and to date, ay 3 LGUs pa lang po ang may approved CLUP, Daraga, Legazpi, and Tabaco, and the rest ay for updating pa,” said the official.
