The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA), through the Albay Provincial Cooperative, Enterprise, and Manpower Development Office (APCEMDO), continues to promote financial literacy among Albayano cooperatives through the Training on Basic Accounting for Non-Accountants.
The initiative, held on August 13, 2026, at the Zubiri Hall, APCEMDO Building, Cabangan, Camalig, Albay, brought together representatives from various cooperatives for training facilitated by resource speaker Camille Eunice E. Lucillio, CDS II of the Cooperative Development Authority Region V Extension Office.
Through the training, participants gained knowledge of basic accounting concepts that they can apply to their day-to-day transactions, management activities, and the interpretation of financial matters.
APCEMDO remains committed to sustaining initiatives that promote the ongoing development of cooperatives and foster more sustainable, financially sound organizations.
