Over PHP2.8 million worth of vouchers were distributed to 1,413 farmers, covering beneficiaries from various barangays of the city. The distribution was led by the Office of the City Agriculturist headed by Argay Ramirez today at Iriga City ICT Building.
Qualified recipients are farmers cultivating an area of 0.5 hectare and above in Iriga City only.
Farmers who have registered in the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) are eligible for the fertilizer discount voucher. Under the program, each of the beneficiaries can avail of PHP1,500 fertilizer vouchers per hectare of land.
