About 10,000 new jobs are expected to be created from the new economic zone that was approved by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. last July 25.

Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion announced that the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) is planning to organize a trade mission at the beginning of this year to invite potential investors to establish their businesses at the Naga City Industrial Park (NCIP).

This industrial zone, which spans over 25 hectares of land in Uptown Carolina, will serve as a hub for exporting products.
