First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos joined 50th Kasanggayahan Festival 2024 in Sorsogon Province, today.
The First Lady served as one of the judges for the National Festival of Festivals competition of 10 local government units all over the country. These colorful performances display their rich culture and significant religious traits.
The Sinulog Festival of Cebu City was crowned champion in the said competition where they bagged P4-M.
In the opening ceremony of the contest earlier, Senate President Chiz Escudero announced that FL Marcos added P1-M for every placer in the competition.
After the contingentsโ performances, FL visited around agri-trade, travel, tourism, and food expo of over 35 booths at the Sorsogon City capitol grounds. With the support of Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture and Department of Environment and Natural Resources, various local products and government services are displayed at the agri-trade.
For the Sorsoganons, the Kasanggayahan Festival features a bountiful harvest and a good quality of life. This is also a celebration of Godโs blessings and abundant living.
