Legazpi City – Nine former rebels have benefited from the assistance provided under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
Each former rebel received Php 15,000 in immediate cash assistance.
Eight individuals also received Php 50,000 for livelihood assistance, while five received remuneration for firearms.
Additionally, reintegration assistance was extended to their respective units.
The awards were personally handed out during a ceremony led by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), the Philippine Army, and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
ECLIP, a program under the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), aims to help former rebels reintegrate into society by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities.
