As an offshoot of the dialogue with hospitals, the City Government helps facilitate and fastrack the arrival of medical oxygen in light of depleting supply in hospitals in the city.
An ISO tank containing liquid oxygen arrived in the city from Cebu Saturday to help augment supply as COVID-19 cases continue to surge.

The City Government thanks Coast Guard Station Central Cebu acting commander Alvin Dagalea for expediting the transport of medical oxygen and the Department of Health for putting together the one hospital command that will facilitate a comprehensive and coordinated response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last Wednesday night, Mayor Beng Climaco together with CDRRMO and LIATF Chief Implementer Dr. Elmeir Apolinario and City Health officer Dr. Dulce Miravite met with hospital administrators to discuss measures to address concerns related to medical oxygen supply in the city.
