Hacking incident occurred at Brgy. Domogok, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:00 AM of December 20, 2020. The victim was identified as Robencio Ponso Antabon, 43 years old, married, farmer and a resident of said place and the suspect as Charlito Sumaguela Tadiogon, 38 years old, male, married, farmer, both residents of Datagan, Siayan, Zamboanga Del Norte.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim and the suspect were having a drinking session and when the victim was about to go home, suddenly the suspect hacked the victim several times by the used of bolo that caused his untimely death.
Right after the incident, the suspect fled away towards unknown direction.
The cadaver of the victim was properly turned-over to his relatives while PNP personnel of Siayan Municipal Police Station are still conducting follow-up operation for possible arrest of the suspect.(PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
