Five IP Schools In Talaingod Received Generator Sets Solar Power Station

Davao del Norte – Five (5) IP Schools in Talaingod, Davao del Norte received Generator Sets Solar Power Station from the Eastern Mindanao Command led by BGEN. LEOPOLDO A. IMBANG JR, PA, Deputy Commander, Eastern Mindanao Command together with LTC. NORMAN E. VALDEZ (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, 56IB, Hon. Jonnie A. Libayao, Municipal Mayor of Talaingod and Mr. Justiniano Cubar, DepEd District Supervisor of Talaingod during the Ceremonial Turn-Over of 5 Units Mission 1200 Solar Power Station held at Headquarters Eastern Mindanao Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Naval Station Felix Apolinario (NSFA), Panacan, Davao City on August 11, 2020.

These Generator Sets were officially received from the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation Inc. (JVOFI) through Lucio Tan Group of Companies (LT Group, Inc.) in the signing of deeds of donation between LTGEN. JOSE C. FAUSTINO JR. AFP, Commander, Eastern Mindanao Command and Executives of the organizations including Reinaldo Bautista Jr, JVOFI President.

The JVOFI through the kindness of LT Group Inc. and its affiliate PMFTC Inc., donated five (5) units of Mission 1200 Solar Power Station for the five (Schools in the sitios of Talaingod, Davao del Norte in response to the request of the Municipality for generator sets to be used in remote IP schools.

The Generator Sets were properly turn-over and appreciatively received by Ms. Perlas Labial, School head of Central Baugan Elementary School, Mr. Jessie Fortuna, School Head of Ibuyag Lamburan Elementary School in Sitio Misulok-sulok, Mr. Leo Legaspi, School Head of KM31 Primary School, Ms. Zenaida Agalao, School Head of Malapanit Primary School, and Mr. Junmar Laab, School Head of Nasilaban Integrated School.

Mr. Cubar, as the DepEd District Supervisor of Talaingod, gave his heartfelt gratitude for the continuous support and untiring effort of the Philippine Army in giving quick response for their requests. Furthermore, these generator sets will be benefitted by the Ata Manobo students for the development of different IP schools. (56th Infantry Battalion Civil Military Operations)
