EAST Asia Super League (EASL) and the Japan Professional Basketball League (B.LEAGUE) announced on Thursday the ticketing details for EASL Champions Week in Utsunomiya and Okinawa, Japan, set from March 1 to 5.
The league’s eight qualified champions and runner-up teams from EASL partner leagues—B.LEAGUE, Korea Basketball League, Philippine Basketball Association, Chinese Taipei P.LEAGUE+ and EASL-seeded Bay Area Dragons—will battle for the EASL crown and lucrative cash prizes.
The first-place team will receive $250,000, while the runner-up and third place teams will receive $100,000 and $50,000, respectively.
Ten games will be played in EASL Champions Week with reigning Japan B.LEAGUE champions Utsunomiya Brex hosting the first six games of the Group Stage at Nikkan Arena Tochigi.
The Ryukyu Golden Kings will host the remaining four games—two Group Stage games as well as the championship and third-place game on March 5 in Okinawa in their new stadium, which is also a FIBA 2023 World Cup venue.
Tickets to the Champions Week will be sold as a day-pass for each day, so fans can watch two games held on the same day with the same seat that they purchased for each of the two games.
