DOH Caraga is closely coordinating with the Local Contact Tracing Team and concerned health facility to identify completely the close contacts of the patient who is reported as the first COVID-19 confirmed death in the region; monitors their health status and executes quarantine procedures. Moreover, the swabbing of the close contacts has already been performed.
“We are strongly appealing to all Butuanons and Caraganons to perform and follow the minimum health standards. Stay at home and only go outside if necessary. When you go out or go to work, wear your face masks. Regularly wash your hands or use hand sanitizers. Always maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from people.
