DOH Caraga Announces Today, June 29, 2020, 22 New Confirmed Cases Out Of 152 RT-PCR Results

DOH Caraga announces today, June 29, 2020, 22 new confirmed cases out of 152 RT-PCR results received from Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) sub-national laboratory.

4 new positive cases were reported for the province of Surigao del Sur. Currently, we have now a total of 15 confirmed cases for COVID-19 with 4 recoveries from Bislig City (1), Lingig (1), Cantilan (1) and Tandag City (1).

NEW CASES:

• Case # 12: 52 years old, female from Bislig City, asymptomatic and is on strict quarantine facility
• Case # 13: 23 years old, male from Lingig with close contact from 2 confirmed cases, LSI from Cebu City, arrived on 6/15/2020 via sea vessel, on strict home quarantine facility
• Case # 14: 22 years old, female from Carmen, LSI from Manila arrived on 6/24/2020, asymptomatic and is on strict quarantine facility
• Case # 15: 20 years old, female from Carmen, LSI from Manila arrived on 6/24/2020, asymptomatic and is on strict quarantine facility

We also have 1 suspected case currently admitted at ASTMMC with pending laboratory result.
