Dipolog: Dapitan city drug suspect arrested

A drug suspect arrested Alias “Val” (HVI) for violation of RA 9165 thru Buy-Bust Operation at around 4:56 PM, September 2, 2024, Purok Manga, Brgy. Banonong, Dapitan City.

The said drug suspect Alias”Val” (HVI), 30 years old, male, single with live-in Partner. An Active Auxiliary of Philippine Army and a resident of Brgy Putol, Dapitan City.

CDET operatives of Dapitan CPS led by PMSg Dexter P Labisig (lead unit) together with the personnel of 1st ZN,PMFC, RDEU-9, 901st RMFB-9, and 5TH SOU conducted a joint Drug Buy-Bust operation at above-mentioned place that resulted to the arrest of the above-mentioned suspect for violation of RA 9165 and confiscation of the following items:
a. 1 pc. Small size heated transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu (buy-bust item);
b. 5 pcs. small size heated transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu ( possession);
c. 1 pc One Thousand Peso Bill (Php. 1,000.00) with serial no. BC1613344 (buy-bust money):
d. 1 unit Oppo Cellphone Color Sky Blue with Sim Card;
e. 1 pc Flash-light plastic case color green use as container;
f. 1 pc Philippine Army CAFGU active Auxiliary Identification Card w/ serial Number ZN-G19-000052 PA

The total estimated weight of the alleged Shabu is 1.3 grams with an estimated worth of PHP 8,840.00

The operation was documented by the use of PNP issued Body-Worn Camera with SN 5203109A 091008893 in compliance with the OCA Circular No. 110-2021, PNP MC 2018-009, and Supreme Court AM 21-06-080 and witnessed by media representative Ms. Hisyl Palma, DOJ representative Miss Ritche P Mantederamos, Brgy Official Hon Jonathan A Recamara.

Said suspect was informed of the cause of his arrest and was apprised of his constitutional rights in a dialect he fully understood.

The suspect is now under the custody of Dapitan CPS pending filing of criminal complaint while the confiscated items will be brought ZN Provincial Forensic UNIT-9 for Chemical Examination. (Angelica T. Obina)
