“Asian Youth Chess Championships 2022” 2nd Placer (Team Blitz Category), Princess Rane Magallanes together with 5th Runner Up (Team Blitz Category), Ran Zeth Marco Magallanes paid their courtesy visit to City Mayor Darel Dexter T. Uy, in his office, last November 9 ,2022 to extend their gratitude to the Chief Executive and to recount their experiences while competing in the Asian Youth Chess Championships 2022 held at Bali, Indonesia last October 13 – 22, 2022. The said chess players will also be competing for the Batang Pinoy Games on December 17 – 22, 2022.
The said tournament was attended by 20 countries namely: India, Iran, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar, New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Chi-nese Taipei, Mongolia, Philippines, and Hong Kong.
