DILG CamSur and City Government of Iriga collaborate in Synergy Building Activity

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Camarines Sur Provincial Office, in collaboration with the City Government of Iriga, held a Synergy Building Activity with the aim of fostering collaboration among stakeholders. This event served as a platform not only for engaging with elected officials and functionaries but also for presenting the results of performance assessments and fostering partnerships in the implementation of DILG programs, projects, and activities.

Among the attendees were Mayor Rex Oliva, Ms. Shielame B. Villa (LGOO VII/DILG CamSur), and Ms. Sheela M. Medica (LGOO VI/DILG Iriga), alongside representatives from various offices and the Sangguniang Panlungsod. The discussion covered a range of topics including the Peace and Order Council/Anti-Drug Abuse Council (POC/ADAC) Audit, Local Legislative Award (SP), Child-friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), and the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).

The City Government of Iriga, having received the SGLG Award for three consecutive years, is getting ready for the next round of audits. Discussions during the activity focused on further improving governance practices and addressing any identified areas for improvement, ensuring the continued success of both the City Government and the DILG in governance excellence.
